Research on the Construction of Standards System for “Bamboo instead of Plastic” Fully Biodegradable Bamboo Film Bags

Abstract: In today’s world where global environmental protection awareness is increasing, the desire for sustainable packaging solutions has reached an unprecedented level. As a shining star in this field, fully biodegradable bamboo film bags are demonstrating immense market potential and environment-friendly values. This paper provides a holistic examination of the current status of fully biodegradable bamboo film bags both domestically and internationally, delving into the opportunities and challenges they face. Particularly, within the macro-context of achieving “carbon peak and neutrality” goals, this paper focuses on the status quo of standardization research, and constructs a comprehensive and scientific standards system for fully biodegradable bamboo film bags, laying a solid theoretical foundation for their widespread global application and resultant environmental benefits. Meanwhile, it can serve as a promotional and educational tool for the campaign of “bamboo instead of plastic”, which is conducive to promoting the development of unified standards related to the bamboo industry and constructing a relatively complete system for “bamboo instead of plastic”.
