Abstract：With the growth of broadband users'demand for high-speed Internet and the continuous expansion and upgrading of networks，theoriginal optical fiber system may face greater transmission pressure，and opticalattenuation control has becomean important link to ensure the qualityof new service and user experience.Therefore，the studyof light atenuation testmethods，maintenance strategies andtheuseofadvancedoptical fiber technologyandconnection solutions have become the focus of the industry.This paper analyzes the common problems of light attenuation in broadband network maintenanceand puts forward solutions to ensurethe efficient operation of broadband network， improve user satisfaction and reduce operation and maintenance costs.
