Abstract： This paper conducts a systematic classfication and comparative analysis of communication technologies within Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks （VANETs）. Based on the range of communication， wireless access technologiesare categorized into threesubclasses： Short-Range Communication （SRC），Long-Range Communication （LRC），and Medium-Range Communication （MRC）.The advantages and limitations of each subclass are thoroughly examined，aiming to provide a theoretical foundation and practical guidance for the selection and optimization of VANET communication technologies.
