Abstract： This paper provides an overview of Internet of Things （IoT） technology，analyzes its core technologies， and subsequently delves into the application of IoT technology in the remote monitoring of electrical engineering equipment.The aim is to enhance the operational efciencyof electrical enginering equipment，reduce maintenance costs，and provide a solid foundation for the safe and stable operation of power systems.
