来华留学生全英文课程的建设与教学实践

Abstract:WiththeadvancementoftheinternationalizationofChina'shighereducation,thenumberofinternationalstudents comingtoChinacontinuestogrow,andtherequirementsforcourseteachingqualityandintemationaladaptabilitycontinueto increase.Asanimportantbasiccourseinlifesciences,Botanyundertakesthedualtasksofsystematicallyimpartingprofesional knowledgeandculivatingscientificresearchliteracy.ThispapertakestheEnglish-mediumcourseofBotanyatGuizhou Universityasanexampletodiscussitsteachinggoals,coursedesignandmethodinnovation.Thecourseadoptsamodular structure,combinestheoryandexperiment,integratesdiverseteachingmethodsanddigitalresources,focusesonbilingual assistanceandterminologyguidance,andstrengthensteachinginteraction.Thecourseincorporatesideologicalandpolitcal elements,suchasTuYouyou’sdiscoveryofartemisininandthecompilationof"FloraofChina"toenhanceinternational studentsunderstandingofChinacultureandscientificresearchspiritandtoexpandteachingefectivenessthroughcollaboration with practicalcoursessuchas"ComprehensiveBiology Practice".Teaching evaluationandstudentfedback showthatthecourse hasachievedgoodresultsinimprovingteachingqualitypromotingintegrationandenhancinginterationalinfluence,providing practical experience for the construction of English-medium courses.
