Abstract：Comparedwith4Gtechnology，5Gtechnologyhasfasterinformationdiseminationspeedandhigherinformation diseminationquality.Itcanbeterempowerallwalksof lifeandbringnewopportunitiestothedevelopmentofsmartforestry. Basedontechnologiessuchas5G，cloudcomputing，andbigdata，theinteligentmonitoringofforestryecologicalinforation， earlywamingofpestsanddiseasesandforestfires，precisewater-savingirigationandforestryproductionmanagementcanbe realized，forestpestsanddiseasescanbeprevented，andforesttendinglevelscanbeimproved.Thispaperfirstoutlinesthe applicatioof5Ginvrtcalindustries，thenintroducesthedevelopmentbackgroundndoverallframeworkofsartforestryand finallyexplains the application of 5G technology in smart forestry.
