Abstract:Inorder toreduceelevatoraccidentscaused bycounterweightreversesheave failure.Theworkingprinciple, materialandstructureoftheelevatorcounterweightreversesheaveareanalyzed.Understandthechangeprocessoftheinspection requirementsforelevatorcounterweightsheaveintheoldandnewversionsoftheinspectionregulations.Severalfailureformsof counterweightreverseropepuleys,suchaswearofropegrooves,damageof bearings,looseorbrokenconnecting structures, mising orimproperlysetprotectivedevicesforrotatingparts,wereaalyzed.Opinionsandsugestionsntheinspectionof heavy reverseropepullysunderdiferentfailurefomsareputforward.Itsummarizesanumberofefectivepreventivemeasuressuch asreasonabledesignandselectionbymanufacturersandimprovementofmanufacturingquality,standardizedoperationby instalationunits,strengtheningmaintenanceunitsandstrengtheningdailycontrol,weklyinspectionandmonthlyshedulingby userunits.Inthiswaythesafetyhazardsofthecounterweightreversesheaveareeliminated,theoperatingstabiltyofthe counterweight reverse sheave is improved,and the safety of elevator operation isensured.
