Abstract：Thetensioning deviceisanimportant partof thepipebeltconveyorandplaysanirreplaceableroleinensuring long-termstableoperationofthepipebeltconveyor.Long-distancepipebeltmillsusuallyfacetheproblemsoflargetape tensionanduneventensiondistribution，andareeasilyafectedbyenvironmentalfactors.ThispapertakestheYan'anproject pipebeltconveyorasanexample，combinestheroleofthetensioning device，andcomparesvarioustensioning schemes，and finallyselects the design scheme of weight box + pulley block + electric winch. The scheme has a safe and stable structure， andis both economical and practical.
