Abstract:Withtheaccelerationofaviationelectrification,electricverticaltakeoffandlandingvehicles(eVTOL)haveshown broadprospectsinfieldssuchasemergencyrescue,medicaltransfer,logistcsanddistribution,andurbancommuting.Thecurrenteergydensityandchargingeficiencyoflithium-ionbaterieslimittheircommercialappication.Thispapersystematicaly analyzesthecharacteristicsandaplicationpotentialoftreepowertechnologies:solidstatebateries,renewablefuelcelsnd hydrogenfuelcell.Solidstatebatterieshavehighenergydensityandexcellntcyclelife;hydrogenfuelcellsprovidenewsolutionsforbaterylifewithhighenergyconversioneficiencyandrapidfiling.Theresearchresultshowsthatdiversifiedpower suplyisthedevelopmenttrendofeVTOL,andhybridpower systemsareexpected toachieveanoptimalbalance betweenperformance and cost in different application scenarios.
