Abstract：Asanimportantlinkinwaterconservancyprojects，riverdredgingplaysanimportantroleinimprovingthe smoothnessofriverwaterflowandimprovingfloodcontrolanddrainagecapabilities.However，withthedeepeningofdredging operations，thetransportandstratificationcharacteristicsofsedimentsgraduallshowanimpactonthedredgingefect.Inorder toimprovetheaccuracyandefciencyof dredgingoperations，thispaperanalyzesitsapplicationefectinmediumandlarge riverdredging basedonsedimenttransportationandlayeredmonitoringtechnology，andproposesoptimizationstrategies.Through technologiessuchasflowratemeasurement，suspendedsedimentconcentrationmonitoring，andbedsedimenttransportmonitoring， combinedwithlayeredmonitoringofthephysicalandchemicalpropertiesofsediments，ariverdredgingefectevaluationsystem based on real-time data is established to provide reference for subsequent dredging operations.
