Abstract:Thispaper aims to studytheimpactof seabed temperature changes onthe consequencesof submarine landslides, andprovidetheoreticalsupportfortheformulationanddecision-makingofmarineengineringsiteselection,infrastructure planninganddesign,andmarineengineringgeologicaldisasterpreventionandcontrolmeasures.Basedontheregional-scale submarinelandslidemotionpredictionmodelandtherheologicaltestdataoftheslidematerialtakenfromthenorthernslopeof the SouthChina Sea,theimpactrange,impactspeedandother disasterconsequences indicatorsof submarine landslides with the samematerialsandinitialontionsunderdfrenttmperatureconitionsarequantiativelyvaluated,andtheinfluencelawsof temperaturechangesontheimpactrangeandspedoftheslidebodyareanalyzed.Theresearchresultsshowthatasthe temperatureincreases,theimpactrangeofthesubmarinelandslideincreasessignfcantly;theimpactthicknessandspeedof the slidingbodyatthesamepositionaresignificantlydferentatdiferenttemperatures,butnomonotonicrelationshipisobserved; ignoringtheimpactofchangesintheseabedtemperaturewillreducetheaccuracyoftheimpactrangeandimpactstrength assessmentresultsoftheslidingbody,resultinginunreliableriskprediction.Themethodinthispapercanalsoquantitatively assessthe disasterconsequencesof seabedtemperaturechangesonpotential seabedlandslidesinotherseaareas,andisof great significance to the planning and design of practical projects and disaster prevention and control.
