Abstract：Theabnormalsoundfaultofthescrollcompressorandthelowworkingcurrntfaultofthecompressorinthe FaiveleyaircondioningunitoftheelectricpassngercarofWuhanMetroLine2areanalyzed.Throughthedisassemblyand analysisofthefaultycompressor，itisconfirmedthattheoccurenceofliquidhammeristhemaincauseofthecompressor failure.Basedonthefaultanalysisresults，thecompresor maintenanceprocessandtheairconditioningunitsystemstructure were optimized and improved，and the compressor failure rate was significantly reduced.
