Abstract：Basedonthereplacementofcontinuouslyweldedrailinlong tunnelsfortheGuangzhou Engineering Section，the researchonthedesignfastening-downtemperatureofcontinuouslyweldedrailinforlong tunnelsiscariedout.Firstly，the strengthalculationofcontinuouslyweldedrailtrackiscarriedouttoobtainthealowabletemperaturedroprangeofrailby usingthetheoryofcontinuouselasticsupprtbeamsandquasi-staticcalculationmethods.Secondly，thestabilitycalculationof continuouslyweldedrailiscarredouttoobtainthealowabletemperatureriserangeofrailbyusingtheunifiedcalculation formulaforimprovingthestabilityofcontinuouslyweldedrail.Finally，thedesignfastening-downtemperatureofcontinuously weldedrailinforlongtunnelisobtained，byconsideringtherailtemperaturedatainthelocalarea，thealowabletemperature droprangeandthetemperatureriserangeofthecontinuouslyweldedrail.Theresearchresultscanprovidethereferencefor determining the design fastening-down temperature in the of similar continuously welded rail.
