Using research methodssuch as the literaturereview methodand logical analysis，this paper examines the concept and characteristics of redsports.Basedonthis，italso delves into the value，chalenges，and implementation paths of integrating red sports into the ideological and political education of university students.In response to the difcultiesofinsuffcientattntiontoideologicalandpolitical educationinredsports inuniversities，ashortageof specialized teachers，insufcient developmentofredsports resources，andanincomplete evaluationsystem，aseries of implementation paths are proposed，such as improving policysupportand institutional guarantees， promoting teacher collboration and exchange，exploring andutilizing red resources，and establishing a comprehensive and diverse evaluationsystem.Theaimistofosterthedepintegrationand innovativedevelopmentofredsportswithideological and political education in universities，providing new ideas and methods for ideological and political education in universities.
