Abstract：Underthehig-qualitydevelopmentbackground，thepotatoasChina’sfourth-largestfoodcrop，holdsstategic significance forensuring food security and promoting rural revitalization. Currently，the development of China's potato industryfaces multiplechalenges：The production sideisconstrained by lagginggermplasm innovationandrising productioncosts;Theprocessing sideremainsentrenched inlow-value-addedsegmentsof thechain，hinderinginustrial upgrading;andthe market side grapples with structural imbalances between supplyanddemand.In lightof these issues， this study proposes a series of countermeasures，including empowering the production through technological innovation， reshaping the processing valuechain，innovating market-driven mechanisms，establishingadigitalsupplychainsystem， andimprovingthepolicysupportframework，topromote thebreakthroughofChina’spotatoindustry，achievehigh-quality development，and contribute to ensuring national food security and supporting rural revitalization.
