Abstract：This papersystematicallanalyzes thecurrent status and existing isues in the developmentofChina’s watermelonand melon industryacrosstheentire supplychain，focusingon the advantages and challenges facedby the developmentofthe watermelonand melon industryinHainan.It proposesahigh-qualitydevelopmentpathcenteredondiferentiatedvariety innovation，standardizedproduction，andbrand-orientedmarketing.With thecontinuous increasing concentrationof advantageous productionregions for watermelonand melon in China，issuessuchas structural surplus in productionandsupply，aswellashomogenizedcompetition haveemerged.The watermelonand melon industy inHainan hassignificantcompetitiveadvantagesinwinterandspring production，buturgentlyneeds breakthroughs invariety optimization，costcontrol，and integratedsupplychain management.Byintroducingdistinctiveand differentiatedrieties， optimizing regional production layouts，and implementingclosed-loop managementofsingle-productsupplychains，the industry’scompetitivenesscanbeenhanced，paving the wayforhigh-qualitydevelopmentin Hainan’s watermelonand melon industry.
