Abstract：Yuanmi No.6 isanewmiben pumpkin F1 hybrid developed by crossing the inbred line S56（female parent） with T32（maleparent）.Thismid-seasoncultivar initiates flowering in 53-64 days，witha total growth periodof 105- 116days.Itsetsfruitonboththemainandlateralvines，withfruit productionpredominantlyonthemainvine.Theplant exhibits astrong growth vigorand high continuous fruit-seting ability.The first female flower generally appears around the18thnode.The fruit isclub-shapedwithanorange-yellowrind，sweetand dense flesh，andexcelent quality. It shows highly resistance to powdery mildew in the field.The fruit is 42.6cm in length， 14-16cm in diameter，with a flesh thickness of 3.8cm and an single fruit mass of 3.6-4.6kg The average yield is approximately 4789.8kg per 667m2 .The soluble solids content is 7.52% ，the protein content is 0.63g⋅100g-1 ，the fat content is 0.14g⋅100g-1 ，the crude fiber content is 1.13g⋅100g⋅1 ，thevitaminA content is 0.59mg⋅100g⋅1 .Yuanmi No.6 demonstrates high productivityandexcellntqualitymaking itsuitable forcultivationinGuizhou，ichuan，Yunnan，Hunan，Guangdong，andther regions of China.
