Abstract:In order to investigate the degree of heavy metal pollution in the surface soil( 0-20cm offacilityvegetable fieldsand the healthrisks it poses to humans,typical facilityvegetable planting areas(Jingyang county,Sanyuancounty, Fuping county and Gaoling district)in Shaanxi province were selected.The Nemerow comprehensive polution index method,potentialecologicalriskindex method,andhealthriskassessmentmodelwereusedtoconductsoilheavymetal polutionassessmentand healthriskassssment.Theresultsshowthattheaveragecontentof8heavymetals Cd,As,Pb, Cr,Cu,Zn,Ni,andMninthesurfacesoilof thestudyareaareallhigherthanthebackgroundvalues.ThecontentofCd and As both exceed therisk screeningvalues,thecomprehensive polution index evaluation indicates light pollution for both Cd andAs,while theother heavy metalsareat thesafe level.Thecomprehensive potential ecologicalrisk index in thestudyareais127.34,indicatingalowecologicalrisk.Withtheextensionofplanting years,thecontentofheavymetals inthe topsoilofthe studyareavariesand showsanoverallincreasing trend.Theresultsofcorrelationanalysisand principal componentanalysis indicate thatCu,Zn,Pb,andCdinthefacilityvegetable fields inthestudyareacomefromagriculturalinputs,NiandCrarenaturalsources,andAshastheabovetwosources.Theheavymetalsinthesoilof theresearch area do not pose non carcinogenic health risks to humans,but haveanacceptable range of carcinogenicrisks.Cr and Ascontribute the most to human health risks.
