Abstract：AsanimportantcarrierofthehistoryandcultureoftheChinesenation，ancientbookscontainthe wisdomandultural heritageofChinesecivilzationtathaslastedfortousandsofyears.Systematicallprotectinginheritinganddevelopingacienlit eratureisanimportantculturalmisionthatcontemporarypubliclibrariesshoulder.ThisarticleakesJiangsupublic librariesasthe researchbjects，andadoptsaresearchmethodcombiningliteratureresearchandfeldinvestigationtosystematicallsortouthecur rentcolectionstatusndprotectionandutilzationofancientbokresourcesintheregion.Troughin-depthanalysisofthecurrent technologicalbotlenecksandtalentshoragesinancientookork，ominedwiththedvelopmenttrendofthedigitalintellence era，thispaperproposesanoptimizationpathfortheprotetionanduilizationofacientbooksinthenewerafromthedimensionsof resourcedigiiatioiceoatiodcholoicaliegatioidertovideticaldacticalereo proving the efficiency of ancient book work in public libraries.
