Abstract：ChiliisoneoftheimportantvegetablecropsinChina.Inordertoprotectlocalvarietiesofchili，improvethe quality，yieldnddiseaseesistanceofhilmaintainepurityofecelentvarietispreventvrietydegadationndprootete high-qualitydevelopmentofthecharacteristicchiliindustry.Xiehechiliwaspurifiedandrejuvenatedbymixingandselection method.ByclarifyingthecharacterisicsofXiehechilianalyzingthepurificationandrejuvenationmethods，andcomprehensively utilizing echnicalmeasuressuchassedtreatment，soilpreparationandopening，individualplantselection，selectionoflines， comparisonbetweelines，physicalisolation，harvestinganddryingtorestoretheexcelentcharacteristicsofXiehechili.After purificationandrejuvenation，thepurityofXiehechilihasbeenimproved，anditsplantcharacteristics，commodityrateadothr aspectshave been significantly improved，promoting theindustrial development of Huanggang Xiehe chili.
