Abstract:The electric performance of the crown spring connector is a key index of the electric control system.The analysis has been made for the failure mechanism of the crown spring connector used in the field of high-speed rail transit by inspecting the failed parts and the mechanical simulation has been done for the contact part of crown spring connector by means of numerical simulation so as to determine that the stress relaxation of jack strip is the main factor of degradation of electric connection performance.The insertion and extraction force and the contact resistance are used to represent the electric connection performance of the crown spring connector,and the insertion and extraction force test and the contact resistance test have been done.Acording to the test data,the electric connection performance of crown spring connector under diferent mileages has been analyzed and a degradation model of electric connection performance of crown springconnector has been built up to verifythe corelation between the degradation model of electricconductivity performance of crown spring connector and the test data.The service life has been quantitatively predicted and some maintenance suggestions have been given acordingly.
