Abstract:The service performance change rule of rubber components is one of the important contents of study in the rail transit industry.The performance of rubber components has a direct influence on the establishment of repair class and maintenance system of vehicles. The conventional natural ageing method for rubber has the disadvantages of long testing period and insuficient universalityof model. Therefore,the article adopts the accelerated ageing test method based on the Arhenius equation and by testing the performance changes of the static sealing rubber components after ageing at diferent temperatures for different durations, figures out the performance change rule of the rubber components at ambient temperature and compares it with the value measured in actual operation on car. The results show that this method allows to effectively predicts theageing ruleof the static sealing rubber components and thatthe results aredistributed within the theoretical prediction area,which meets the requirements of actual application. Meanwhile,this method can provide reference for predicting the service life of other rubber components.
