Enlightenment on Digital Development of Railways Based on Technical Seminar of International Heavy Haul Association

Abstract：Based on the themed content of the technical seminar of the International Heavy Haul Association，the article summarizes the improvementand changeof the operational performance of heavy haul railways in the digital field by diferent countries and discusses the influence of Industry 4.O on the railway staffIt briefly introduces the structure health monitoring（SHM）and other contents and summarizes the development of digital railways in Norway and India.In addition，the article analyzes the practice of combining the conventional heavy haul technologies with the digital technologies such as IoT，Big Data and AI in the countries with developed heavy haul transportation under the changes in the current information age and gives enlightenment and suggestions on the digital development of Chinese railways.
