Abstract： The auxiliary power supply system，as an important part of high-speed EMU， supplies power to numerous auxiliary devices and ensures the normal operation of high-speed EMU fora long time. The Auxiliary Power Unit （APU3） is an important component of the auxiliary power supply system of high-speed EMU and its performance has a direct influence on the reliability of the auxiliary power supply system of EMU. This article expounds the working principle of APU3，analyses in detail the causes of faults of APU3 module， proposes the solution and finally verifies the feasibility of the solution by means of ground test.
