Abstract:In this paper,the existing high-speed passenger EMU which is about to expire in service is transformed into high-speed freight EMU train by changing the structure of side wall,side door and side window of passenger room,so as to maximize its residual value for railway fast logistics transportation. Highspeed freight EMU trains have the advantages of high timeliness,large transport capacity,all-weather, environmental protection and green,and the opening of high-speed freight EMU trains is aconcrete measure to earnestly implement the central government’s plan to strengthen the construction and deployment of highspeed rail freight capacity and adapt to the needs of the transportation market. In this paper,the implementation standard of the structural strength of theexisting high-speed EMU isanalyzed,thecomparison of the structure of the carbody before and after the transformation is described in detail,and the results of the simulation analysis of the structural strength of the carbody,the static strength test of the carbody and the modalitytest of the prepared carbody are compared.Finally,,the conclusion is drawn that the high speed EMU carbody structure with wide opening side door suitable for fast logistics meets the standard requirements,and the overallstiffness of thecarbody is improved afterthe side wallof thecarbody cancels the side windowof the passenger room,and the structural performance of the carbody is improved. The content discussed in this paper has important practical significance for the research of high-speed railway passenger and freight equipment,which is helpful to enrich high-speed express products and help the development of modern logistics.
