[Abstract]Lung cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors worldwide today.Patients in the advanced stage often suffr from moderate to severe pain， which seriously affects their qualityof life.In pain management，opioid drugs，as potent analgesics，are widelyused inthe treatmentoflung cancer pain.However，while such drugs relieve pain，they often lead to constipation，a common and troublesome side effect for patients.This articleaims to reviewthe research progressof opioid induced constipation in patients with moderate to severe pain in lung cancer using both traditional Chinese and western medicine，and to explore the relevant treatment strategies and precautions from the perspectives of traditional Chinese and western medicine.
