[Abstract] Objective：To compare the efects of Bunnell suture method and Kessler suture method in emergency repairof hand tendon injuryand their influenceon therecoveryof hand function，inorder to provide a reference basis for the clinical selection of appropriate suture techniques.Method： A retrospective analysis was conductedon theclinical data of 1O1 patientswho received emergency treatment for hand tendon injury in Fuzhou Second General Hospital from May 2O22 to May 2024.Based on diffrent treatment methods，the patients were divided into two groups： the observation group （ n= ：50，treated with the Kessler suture method） and the control group （ n =51，treated with the Bunnell suture method）.The therapeutic effect，hand function，tendon pain degree and complication rate of the two groups were compared.Result： The total efective rate in the observation group was 98.00% ，which was significantly higher than 70.59% in the control group （ P <0.05）. Twelve weeks after the operation，therangeof motionof the proximalanddistal interphalangeal joints，metacarpophalangeal joint in the observation group were better than those in the control group （ P <0.05）. The VAS score in the observation group at each time point after the operation were lower than those in the control group （ P <0.05）. Thecomplication rate in the observation group was 2.00% ，which was lower than 15.69% in the control group （ P <0.05）. Conclusion： In the emergency repair of hand tendon injury，the Kesser suture method has a better effect than the Bunnell suture method.
