[Abstract] Objective: To explore the predictive value of combined detection of LDL-C,HDL-C and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc)for the occurence of type2 diabetic nephropathy.Method: A total of 8O type 2 diabetesmellitus (T2DM) patientsadmitted to Nanchang Massage Hospital from June 2O22 to June 2024 were selectedand divided into the combinedDN group(n=33)and the simple T2DM group(n=47)based onwhether they were complicated with diabetic nephropathy (DN).Additionally,50 healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations inour hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.Blood samples were collected of allsubjects to measure the levels ofLDL-C,HDL-Cand HbA1c,and the diferences among the three groups were compared.logistic regression analysis was conducted to obtain independent risk factors influencing the occurrence of type 2 diabetic nephropathy.ROC curve was drawn to analyze the clinical value of individual and combined detection of LDL-C,HDL-Cand HbAlc in predicting the occurrence of type 2 diabetic nephropathy.Result: The levels of LDL-C and HbAlc in the combined DN group were higher than those in the simple T2DM group and the control group,and the levels of HDL-C was lower than that in the simple T2DM group and the control group ( P <0.05). logistic regression analysis showed that high LDL-C levels,low HDL-C levels,and high HbAlc levels were independent risk factors for the occurrence of type 2 diabetic nephropathy ( P <0.05). ROC curve showed that the AUCofLDL-C,HDL-Cand HbAlc alone and incombination for predicting theoccurrenceof type2 diabetic nephropathywere O.769,0.787,0.753,andO.851,respectively.The combineddetection hasthe highestpredictive value.Conclusion: Combined detection of LDL-C,HDL-C and HbAlc can predict the occurrence of type 2 diabetic nephropathy and is helpful for guiding early treatment.
