[Abstract]The uridine dphosphate-glucuronosyltransferase (UGT) family plays a key metabolic and detoxification role in organisms. It improves the water solubility of the compound and promotes its excretion by transfering glucuronic acid groups to form glucuronate.UGT is involved in physiological processes such as drug metabolism, toxin clearance, and hormone metabolism.Incancer research, UGT may afect the efficacy of treatment byremoving carcinogens andregulating drug metabolism. This review highlights theroleof UGTin cancer progression and drug resistance mechanisms, and provides relevant inhibitors and regulators to provide a reference for delaying cancer progression.
