Exploration of the Contemporary Educational Value of Wang Fuzhi' s View of Knowledge and Action

Abstract:Thedialecticalrelationshipbetweenknowledgeandaction isoneof thecontentsofancient Chinesephilosophy.Wang Fuzhis“ViewofKnowedgeandAtion”inheritstheessenceoftraditioalCofucianism,and,onthebasisofcriciingthedealistic ideas f Neo-ConfucianismintheSongandMing Dynasties,proposesaninnovative theoryof“knowledgeandactioncomplementeach other",formingthesiplemateralist“VewofKnowledgeandction”inCina.Telgicalsis,oreraitsthoreticalioatiad moralsentimentofWangFuzhi’s“ViewofKnowledgeandActionfersvaluableinsightsforhighereducation:(1)cultivatingstudents thinkingofemphasingactio;(2)facilitatingstudents’selffltiontofulfilltheoaleducationfunctio;(3)evelopinsdts social' responsibility and sense of duty.
