Abstract:Theresearchonthepivotal roleof the Communist Partyof China (CPC）intheWarof Resistance against Japanese Aggresiohasalwaysbenahotopicinthecademiccommunitysincetheationalcommemorationof te5Othaiversaryofevictory of theWorldAnti-Fascist Warinthe199Os.Teresearchfindingsaremainlycenteredonthefllowingaspects:whichof tetwopartis, theKuomintangortheCPC，playedapivotalroleintheWarofResistance，andhowtheCPCbecamethemainstayof thewar.By summarizingexistingresearchonthepivotalroleoftheCPCinthewarfromultipleperspectives，includingpositiveinterpretations， comparativestudies，andexteralviewpoints，thispaperanalyzescurentresearchshortcomings，withtheaimofuncoveringnew perspectivesforfurtherexploration，forcefullyrefutinghistoricalnlism，andaccuratelyunderstandingtepivotalroleoftCPCin the war.
