【Abstract】Thisarticle designs alow-costautomaticmaterial transfer trolleycontrol system toaddress theproblem that material transferreliesonmanuallaborinahighlypolltedenvironmentofsmallfactories.Thenewsystemisdriven bythree-phasesquirel-cage asynchronous motorsandcontrolld through aprogrammable logiccontroller（taking Siemens S7-1200asanexample）.Ituses limit switches tolocate pointsAandB，setstheloadingandunloading time through timerelays，anduses dipswitches tosetthenumberoftransfers.Ithasfunctionssuchasforwardandreverserotation， shortcircuitandoverload protection，emergencystopandno-loadstop.Thissystem iseasytooperateand suitable for personel without anindustrial control background.Itcanreplacemanual laborand isconducive toreducing costsand the risk of occupational diseases.
