【Abstract】Aiming at the problem that the poor lifting of components in the miniaturization production of automotive circuitcomponents isdiiculttobedetectedbytraditional2Dcameras，thispaperproposesamulti-directionalsidelight sourcevisual inspectionscheme.Byarranging strip lightsources toilluminateandcollect images insequence，the diferences in the luminancecharacteristic values of thecomponentsurfaces arecompared.The brightnessdiferenceof normal components isnearlyO，whilethebrightness diferenceofliftedcomponents issignificantduetolightocclusion andreflectiondiferences.Intheexperiment，thebrightnessdiferencesbetweenthenormaland liftedcomponentswere3 and-201 respectively，which could verify the effectiveness of the scheme.
