Abstract:Theapplicationoflow-strainreflectedwavemethodandultrasonictransmisionmethodinhighwayfoundationpile integritytestingisexplored.Thelow-strainreflectedwavemethodsetsanexcitationpointatthecenterpointofthepiletop, arrangessensorsaroundit,emitselasticwavesfromtheexcitationpointandcapturesthereflectedwaveswiththesensors, calculatesthewavespedandcombinesthereflectionattheendofthepiletojudgetheintegrityofthepilebody;The ultrasonictransmissionmethodtransmitsandreceivesultrasonicwavesthroughtransmitersandreceiversembededinthe acousticmeasuring tube,andcalculatesthespeedofsound,amplitude,etc.todetectandverifypilebodydefects.Takinga highwaybridgefoundationpileasanexample,itwasinitallyjudgedthattherewasasuspecteddefectivereflectionabout13 metersbelowthepiletopbasedonthetimedomaincurveofthelow-strainreflectedwave.Theultrasonictransmisionmethod wastheusedtoverifyit.Theresultsshowedthattheconcreteacousticparameterswereabnomalat12.8to13.2metersaway fromthepiletop.Thetestresultsofthetwomethodswereconsistent.Comprehensiveanalysisandjudgmentofthewaveforms measured by the two methods were used to determine that the pile body had slight defects.
