Abstract:Thispapertakestheold boomunderthereplacementof Heishipu XiangjiangBridgeastheresearchobject,and analyzestheremainingfatiguelifeoftheboombyonthesteewiredamageinspection,statictensiletestandfatiguetestresults. Theresultsshowthattheresiduallifeofgrade3andgrade4corrodedsteelwireisreduedmore,andtheresidualfatiguelife of steel wire with rust grade 4 has been reduced by 20% .Parisformula is used to quantitatively introduce the theoretical residualfatiguelifeoffracturesteelwire.Thetheoreticalfatiguelifevalueagreeswellwiththetestfatiguelifevalue.Inthe actual testitems,theresidual fatigue lifeofcorosionstelwirecanbeevaluatedbymeasuringthecorosionpitparameters.
