Robust service composition method for cloud manufacturing based on improved multi-objective whale optimization algorithm

Abstract:Existing cloud manufacturing service compositionmethods aretypicallydevelopedunder theassumption of no anomalies inmanufacturingservices,which renderscurrent modelsandmethods ieffcientoreven prone tofailurewhenservice anomalies occur.Toaddressthis issue,this paper proposedarobust servicecomposition methodforcloud manufacturing basedonanimprovedmulti-objective whaleoptimizationalgorithm.Firstly,the methodefectivelyavoided isues suchasinefficiencyortask failurecausedbyanomalies inpreferedservicesbyasigningapreferredservice andanalternative service to eachsubtask.Next,the methodusedtask latency timeasarobustness indicatorforcloud manufacturing servicesandconstructedamulti-objectivecloud manufacturingservicecompositionmodelthatconsideredbothrobustnessandqualityofservicerequirements.Tosolvethis model,themethoddesignedanimprovedmulti-objective whaleoptimizationalgorithmbasedonahybridstrategy.Finally,analysisofdifferentarithmeticcasesshowsthattheproposed methodoutperformsothergoodmethodsof convergence and diversity.

云制造(cloudmanufacturing,CMfg)是网络化制造与云计算技术相结合的一种新型现代智能制造服务化模式,通过网络通信与云计算服务平台,将制造资源提供者的制造资源和制造能力通过虚拟化技术存储到云服务提供商中,为制造资源的请求者按需提供高效、智能、及时的云制造服务[1]。(剩余19187字)
