Spatial pattern of traditional villages in Shaanxi Province and its influencing factors

Abstract：Atotalof113traditioalvilagesinShanxiProvincewereselectedasreseachobjects.Thenearestneighbordistane，ker neldensityestimation，eogapicalconcentrationindex，Ginicoeficient，andimbalanceindexwereadotedtoexploretesptial distributioncharacteristicsandiuencingfactorsof traditionalvilgs.TheresultsindcatedtattheaveragenearesteigbordistanceoftraditionalvilagesinShaanxiProvincewasO.6769，sugestingacusteredspatialdistributonpatern.Theimbalanceidex of traditional villages was 0.758，reflecting an uneven distribution across 1O prefecture-level cities.Over 70% of traditional villages wereconcentratedinYulinCity，WeinanCityandAnkangCity，whileothercitieshadsignificantlyewertraditionalvilags.etaditional vilagesinYulinCity，Weinan City，andAnkang Cityexhbitedighspatialconcentration，forminghigh-densitycoreareas. Incontrast，thevilgesinan'anityXiayangCityndHanzhongCityshoweddispersedspatialpaterns，ithsigniiantlylowerkerneldensityvaluescomparedtothecoreareas.Tespatialpateroftaditionalvilageswasompreensivelyinfluncdbynatural geographicfactors（topogaphy，climateonditios，iversystems）andsociulturalfactors（transporationaeibilityis tance to administrative centers，historical and cultural heritage）.
