Analysis of the temporal and spatial evolution and influencing factors of agricultural green total factor productivity in China under resource and environmental constraints

Abstract:Basedonresourceand environmentalconstraints,theSuper-EficiencySBM-GMLmodelwasemployed to measure the AgriculturalGeeTotalFactorProductivity(AGTP)of30provincial-levelregions inChinafrom2012to2O1,andsystematicallanalyzeditsspatiotemporalevolutioncharacteristicsandinfluencingfactors.TheresultsindicatedthatChinasAGTFPdemonstratedan acceleratingupwardtrendduringO12-2021,reflectingsignificantachievementsinthegreentransformationofagriculture.Concur rently,whileCinahadmadecontiuousprogesinagiculturalgntchnologis,gricultualgreentechicaleficiencyhadown adecliningtrend,revealingacurrenttendencyof“emphasizingR&Doveraplcation”ingreentechnologypromotionandsuboptimal allcationofagrculturalresourceelements.Furthermore,theregionalcharacteristicsofAGTFPinChinawereprimarilymanifestedas disparitiesinagriculturalproductionzonesandeconomicstructures.Sixsignificantpositivefactors(includingenvironmentaleglationintensity,etc.)andonesignificantnegativefactor(agriculturalopenness)wereidentifiedbyapplyingatwo-wayfixedffects modeltoanalyzemultipleinfluencingfactors.Basedonthesefindings,policyrecommendationssuchaspromotinggreenagricultural transformationandoptimizingtheallocationofagriculturalresoueelmentswereproposedtofacliateChina’sshiftfometsive agricultural development to high-quality,sustainable growth.
