AbstractTraditionalmediastinaltumorsurgeryisasociatedwithsignificant traumaandslowpostoperativerecoveryWiththe advancementofmodernmedicine，robot-asistedthoracoscopicsurgery（RATS）hasemergedasanovelotionformediastinaltumor treatmentduetoitsprecisionandminimallyinvasiveadvantages.Thisarticlereviewsthedevelopmentofrobot-asistedsurgeryfor mediastinaltumorsummaresitsapproachs，atintpositioingndportplaceentpriciples，anddsussesitsclnicalacyin anteriorndposterioediastialumors.Prevusiteratureindcatesthatcompaedtoontymctoanddeoistedthoacoopic surgery，RATsicatdaagsiopatieodlsstopatieoatiosdlgthofosalayi technologicaleetsderalcaibotdgerypedtoerleisal treatment，providing patients with more precise and minimally invasive therapeutic options.
