Precise diagnosis and clinical value assessment of thyroid nodules using AI-assisted multimodal ultrasound combined with TRAb and VEGF detection

AbstractObjective:ToinvestigatetheprecisediagnosisandclincalvalueofAI-asistedmultimodalultrasoundcombinedwith thyrotropinreceptorantibody(TRAb)andvascularendothelialgrowthfactor(VEGF)detectioninthyroidnodules.Methods:19patints withthyroidnoduleaditedtoTangshanPeople’sHospitalfromJanuary23toSeptember2O24wereenrolld.A-aistedmultiodal ultrasound [conventional AI ultrasound + color Doppler flow imaging (CDFI) + real-time shear wave elastography (SWE) + contrastenhancedultrasond(CEUS)aserford,withostoperativeathologicalrsultssthegoldsadad.Tepatintsereddedt thebenigngroup(n=82)andthemalignant(n=47)group.SerumlevelsofTRAbandVEGFweremeasured,andutrasoundandserum indicators werecomparedbetweenthetwo groups.Thediagnosticvalueof AI-asistedmultimodalultrasoundcombined withserum markers wasanalyzed.Results:ThecombineddetectionofAI-asistedmultimodalutrasoundwithTRAbandVEGFachievedacomplete compliance rate of 98.45% (127/129)with pathological results.Itssensitivity,specificity,positive predictivevalue (PPV),and negative predictive value (NPV) in diagnosing thyroid nodules weresignificantly higher than those of TRAb or VEGFalone ( P <0.05). Based on pathological results,the diagnostic efficacy (AUC, 95% CI) of TRAb,VEGF,AI-assisted multimodal ultrasound,and their combination were(0.89,).).)d)ly with AZ=0.5 1 (P<0.05) .Conclusion: In the diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules,integrating AI-asisted multimodal ultrasoundfeatureswithserumTRAbandVEGFlevelscansignificantlyimprovedagnosticaccuracyhichhascertainliicalvalue.
