Application of robot-assisted percutaneous pedicle screw internal fixation in patients with thoracolumbar fractures

AbstractObectiveToinvestigatethclinicalecacyofrobot-asstedpercutaneuspdiclesrewitealfixatiofororaclubar fractures.Methods:96patientswiththoracolumbarfracturesadmittdtoZijingHospitalAflatedtoWuhanUniversityofScienceand Technology fromJanuary2O22 toDecember 2O24 wereselected.,Patients were equalldivided intoanobservation group( n =48) and a controlgroup(n=48)usingacomputerrandomalocatiosystem.Theobservationgroupunderwentrobot-assistedpercutaneouspedicle screwinteralfiatio,hiletheontrolgoupeceiedtraditioalC-afluorosopasstedpercutaneospediclesieal fixation.Postoperatiefollupasductedforothsrgicaliicators,puntureauacyagigomanicalpaes, qualityoflife,andcomplicationrateswerecomparedbetweenthetwogroups.Results:Teoperative timeandsingle-screwinsertion timeintheobsevationgouperesificantlysortertantoseinteontrolgoup,ithsigificantlyssraoperativebloodlosnd fewer number of fluoroscopy performed ( P <0.05).Both groups had 288 screws inserted, with the observation group showing a significantly higher excellent rate ofscrewplacement( P <0.05).At6months postoperatively,the local kyphosis Cobb angle in the observation group was smaller than thatinthecontrolgroup,whilethepercentageofanteriorvertebralbodyheightandROMwere higher (P<0.05 ).Compared with preoperativevalues,bothgroupsshowedsignificantimprovements inPCSscore,MCSscore,andSF-12totalscoreat6moths postoperatively ( P <0.05),and the above scores were significantly higher in the observation group than the control group (P<0.05) . The total complication rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05) . Conclusion: Robot-assisted percutaneouspediclesreintealfationfortoracolumbarfracturescaniprovepunctureauracyandurgicaleciencyace postoperativesinalomechanicalsabilityandjintmoblityducecomplicationisks,andimprovepatints’qualityfifeicis worthy of clinical promotion.
