Clinical application of bipolar electrocoagulation in lymph node dissection during robot-assisted radical gastrectomy （with surgical video）

AbstractObjective：Toevaluatethefeasibilityand potentialadvantagesofbipolarelectrocoagulationinlymphodedissetion duringrobot-asistedradicalgastrectomyforgastriccancer.Methods：Clinicaldata wereretrospectivelyanalyzedfrom6Opatients whounderwentobot-asistedradicalgastrectomyattheAfliated HospitalofXuzou MedicalUniversitybetwnJanuary2and January2024.Bipolarelectrocoagulationwasemploydthroughouttheproceduresforsurgicalfeldexpansion，tisuedisetin，lyph node dissection，and vascular sealing. Results： The median age of patients was 62 years，with a median BMI of 23.3kg/m2 . The median preoperativepreparationtimewas26.3miuteswithanaverageoperativetimeof236minutesandanaverageintraoperativebloodloss of36mL.Theaveragetimeforsuprapancreaticlymphodedisectionwas35minutes，withanaverageof14.74lymphodesdisseted atthissiteandatotalof31.12lyphndesdisecedonaverage.NosevereitraoperativecomplicatsocurdTeaveragetieto firstflatuswas.52daystheveragetofirstoralintakeas3.56ay，thmediapostoperatielngthofospialstaas7da， theaveragecostofobotasistdsurgerywasC22OO，ndthaveragetotalospialationcstsC8500.osoative complications occurred in 5 cases （8.3 % ），and all patients recovered after treatment. Conclusion：Bipolar electrocoagulation is safe andefctiveinbotaisteddicalgastrefostricncr.Infcilitatereiseitraoeatiemostasisisio dissectionandlyphdeisetion，andprovideanexcelentsurgicalfield.Combindwithoteradvanagesoftheroboticurgical system， itcan enhance the overallsurgical safety and precision.
