Comparative study on the efficacy of robot-assisted versus limited open cannulated screw fixation with arthroscope for Sanders type II and III calcaneal fractures

AbstractObjective:Tocomparetheeficacyofrobot-asstedandlimitedoencaulatedsrewfixationwiharthroscoeforSanders ⅡI and || calcaneal fractures.Methods: 94 patients with Sanders II and II calcaneal fractures who were treated at the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from June 2O21 to June 2O23 were divided into the control group ( n =45,receivingarthroscopic limited open cannulated screw fixation) and the studygroup ( n: =49,receiving arthroscopic robot-assisted cannulated screw fixation) according to different surgicaletd.urgicalratioopratieitingti,aorativeloodlosshergle,anegle,alith sustentaculumtalifxatiorate,AmericanOrthopaedicFt&AnkleSciety(AOFS)akleindfootscoreat3monthsafersurgeyn complicationswerecomparedbetwenthetwogroups.Results:Comparedwiththecontrolgroup,thestudygrouphadsignificantlyshorter preoperativewaiitdsstraoeatiebdloss(O)reesigntdfesissaeglele calcaneal width between the two groups at 1,3,6,and 12 months postoperatively ( P> 0.05). The success rate of sustentaculum tali fixation was significantlywerinhotrolgroup(P.O5).At3otafersugeryesuygoupadgrOFAkle-dfotscosate control group ( P <0.05).The total complication rate was higher in the control group than the study group ( P <0.05). Conclusion:Arthroscopic robot-asistedcanlatedsefafndersIdlalaealfctushasadvaagsuchassotesrgicalduratioduced intraoperativebloodlos,lowercomplicationrates,andprecisefracturereduction,whichisofsignificantclinicalfcacy.
