KONG Weiliang'，LI Yuhe²，HUANG Hongyu²， ZHANG Lidong²，LI Jiawang'，FU Haipeng （1.CucumbereachIsituteofnjinKeelAgricuuraliencndThnlogyCoLdtateKeyboratorfVebli breeding，;he Abstract：Jinyuan21isanewopen-fieldcucumbercultivardevelopedthroughhybridization，with76-2-14-6asfemale parentand DL-3-X-3as male parent.This cultivar exhibits strong plantvigor，medium-to-large leaves，thick stems，the firstfemale flowernodeislocatedatthe4thto 6thnode，withafemale flowerrateof about 50% .Itexhibits excellent earlymaturityandstrongcontinuous fruit-setingability.The fruitsarereadyforharvest7-9daysafter the female flower opening，with rapid fruit expansion.The cucumbers are straight and club-shaped，approximately 35cm in length，with a transverse diameter of 3.7cm .The stem end is 4.6cm ，lessthan1/7of the total fruit length.The average single fruit mass is around 220g Theskin is dark green witha glossyappearance，featuringaround tip，a thick and short stem，dense spines，and moderate warts.The fruit hasnoridgesandasmallseedcavity，resulting inahigh marketable yieldThe fruit contains 144mg⋅kg-1 of vitamin C， 3.6% soluble solids， 3.33% dry matter，and 20.4mg⋅g-1 soluble sugar. The plant can set fruit normally under high-temperature conditions of 35.37∘C .The cultivar is resistant to downy mildew and moderately resistant to powderymildewand bacterial angular leaf spot. Theaverage yield per 667m2 is 6420.2kg It issuitable for spring open-field cultivation in regions such as Yunnan，Henan， Hainan，and Zhejiang.
