Effects of different foliar fertilizer application methods on vegetable growth, development and yield

Abstract:Toinvestigatetheeffectsoffoliarfertilizersonthegrowth,development,andyieldofvegetable,twotypesof foliarfertilizers,namelyhigh-potassumwater-soluble fertilizerwithmacro-elements(foliarfertilizerA)andmineral-derivedhumicacidwater-solublefertilizer(foliarfertilizerB),wereselectedforfoliarapplicationtrialsonceleryzucchini, tomato,andcauliflower,whichare themainvegetabletypescultivated inZhangyecity.Theresultsindicatedthatboth foliarfertilizerscanpromotethegrowthanddevelopmentofvegetableand increasetheiryields,andtheeffectsofaltenating and mixing applications are superior to thoseofsingle applications.Forleafy vegetable,the best results wereachieved by applyingfoliarfertilizerAfirst,followedbyfoliarfertilizerBafter15days.Forfruitandmelonvegetable,theoptimalapplicationwasfoliarfertilizerBfirst,followedbyfoliarfertilizerAafter15days.Itisrecommendedtousethese twofoliar fertilizers in an alternating or mixed manner in production based on different vegetable types.
