Space induced Oudemansiella apalosarca to obtain excellent strain

Abstract:Oudemansiellaapalosarca,arareedible fungus withhighnutritional value,faces theissueofpooruniformity in fruiting bodystipes,necessitating strain improvement.Inthisstudy,spacemutationbreeding technologywasemploed to induce mutations in themyceliumof O .apalosarca strains,withanon-mutated strain servingasthe control(CK).Continuous subculture tests,fruiting tests,myceliumevaluation,andagronomic traitasessment wereconductedtoanalyze the mutationdirection,stability,andfruiting performanceof themutantstrainsduringsubculturing.Theresultsindicated that six aerospace mutant strains(HK)demonstrated stable antagonistic variation against CK,with growth diferences diminishing withincreasedsubculturing.Agronomic traitsofsixstablemutantHKstrainswereassessed,revealingthatthe space mutation strain HK26 exhibited stable antagonistic variation,a 46.50% higher biological efficiency than CK,reducedfruitingtimeby5days,andimproveduniformityoffruitingbodystipes,making itsuitableforindustrialproduction.Inconclusion,throughthecombinationof space mutation breeding technologyandagronomictrait evaluation,the excellentstrainHK26withhighyieldandgoodstipeuniformitywassuccesullyselected.This method presentsaneffective approach for breeding and advancing the industrial application of O. apalosarca.
