Application of Debriefing Teaching Method in TCM Standardized Residency Training

Abstract: In recent years,scenario simulation teaching has been widely applied in medical education,with Debriefing gradually gaining atention as the core component of scenario simulation teaching. TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) standardized residency training is a crucial process in the after-school reeducation of students in TCM colleges and universities. The teaching reform of TCM residency training needs to be based on“upholding righteousness and innovation”,which not only adheres to the ontology of TCM,but alsoactively absorbs moderm medical educationmethodologies.Debriefing is a teaching method that promotes knowledge construction and skill enhancement through reviewing,analyzing,and reflecting on the learning process. It is widely used in scenarios such as simulation training,case teaching,and project-based learning. Based on the theoretical origins,implementation modes,and clinical thinking characteristics of Debriefing,taking TCM Gynecology as an example,this paper explores the practical path,advantages,and challenges of Debriefing teaching method in TCM standardized residency training,so as to provide theoretical support for improving the quality of clinical teaching TCM residency training.
