Construction and Application of Knowledge Graph in Medical Education from the Perspectiveof New Medicine

Abstract: The construction of New Medicine,as a strategic direction of education reform in contemporary China,faces challnges such as dificulties in integrating interdisciplinary knowledge within traditional medical education and the inability of standardized teaching to address students’diverse needs. Knowledge graphs represent a hot topic in digital education anda crucial component of artificial inteligence technology. Constructing innovative medical curricula through knowledge graph technology has become a key direction for future medical education. Therefore,this study systematicall analyzes the primary isses encountered under the background of New Medicine. By applying knowledge graph technology in“Brain Science and New Imaging Technologies”course,two objectives were achieved.Firstly,knowledge points from multiple interdisciplinary fields were deeply integrated by medical-engineering convergence and capturing core knowledge information from diferent disciplines via exploratory learning. Secondly,guided by addressing practical clinical chalenges,relevant knowledge points across the entire disease lifecycle were synthesized to deduce disease progresson and diagnostic and therapeutic characteristics,including prevention,diagnosis, treatment,and rehabilitation.It was demonstrated that this knowledge framework not only effectively fosters students’divergent innovation and system thinking abilities but also plays a pivotal role in enhancing teaching quality and cultivating multidisciplinary medical professionals. It provides valuable insights and references for medical education reform in higher education institutions.
