Explorationof Integrating Current Eventsinto the Introductory Course to“Environmental Hygiene”

Abstract: Taking the 2O25 wildfire incident as a case study,this paper constructs a practical framework for integrating ideological and political elements into the introductory course of“Environmental Health".By analyzing the causes,impact scope,and relevance to the course content of the wildfire events,it explores the underlying environmental issues and reveals the crucial role of Environmental Health in addressing natural disasters. Previous studies have shown that incorporating ideological and political education into the introductory teaching of“Environmental Health”can effectively enhance students’environmental awareness and overall quality,thereby cultivating high-quality talents for China’secological civilization construction. However,challngesremainin practice,including the limitations of theoretical application,academic controversies,and the applicability of practical operations.In light of this,this paper proposes a practical approach to effectively integrate current affairs cases into the teaching of the introductory course of

Environmental Health,aiming to provide referencesand insights for the field of Environmental Hygiene education in China.
