Abstract: The field practice of“Pharmaceutical Botany”is an important part of practical teaching in the specialty of Pharmacy,but problems such as insuffcient practical opportunities, single content,and incomplete evaluation system exist in the traditional teaching mode.This paper aims to analyze the current teaching situation and propose reform measures to improve teaching quality and cultivate compound talents in traditional Chinese medicine.By adjusting the training program,reforming teaching methods,optimizing assessment methods,and combining centralized practice with stage practice,the integration of theory and practice is strengthened.After the reform,students’practical abilities have significantly improved,and their feedback on the course has been helpful in knowledge acquisition,teamwork,and professonal interest cultivation.Through the reform of the curiculum system,teaching methods,and evaluation mode,the qualityof field practice teaching in“Pharmaceutical Botany”has significantly improved.In the future,it is necessary to further construct a practical teaching system that integrates “identification,medicinal use,and industry"”,deepen the cultivation of traditional Chinese medicine talents,and assist in the inheritance and in novation of the traditional Chinese medicine industry.
